These feelings are... well... grand...

Such an old-fashion word...

To use such a word in todays 'modern' poetry...

Why... the very idea... is really quite absurd...

Still, 'grand', at first glance... is what these feelings seems to be...

'Grand' perfectly describes what is inside the heart of me...

when... rushing back... return... treasured thoughts of thee...

Grand Passion... and... Grand Desire... And, yes, there is a difference...

Now, I realise, all we once had... we have no more...

In truth... I must have been blind...

Yes... a quaint term... 'grand'... Perhaps a little 'ostentatious'?

One might even call it 'pretentious'?

Too... dare I say it... 'grand'... for this overly self-indulgent poem?

A good title for a railway station... however...

Grand Central... Definitely has a ring to it...

(Trust the Americans... Ever grandiose...)
