Detective inspector Jane Conway walked into the crime screen and immediately called her boss.

“Commissioner, we have another cabbage.”

The Cabbage killer had been the bane of the department for weeks now. Every other day another body appeared, naked, in a public place, holding a cabbage. The press loved it and they were making the police look like fools.

As always there were no marks, no cause of death, no sign of violence and autopsy was likely to show again, no poison. And absolutely nothing suspicious. And then missing persons were also going to come back negative.
