Power lines provide...

well... Power...

To the people

Not in any political sense

of course... Though...

that may well be

a matter of opinion:

especially considering

the usefulness of electricity...

Without which we would not have:

fridges and toasters

and air conditioners...

and a host of other wonderful

(and not so wonderful)

scientific objects of natural

(and un-natural)

... desire

Now consider:

those too poor

to afford the gift of such power...

They are destined to remain

without 'power'

...  If you know what I mean?

Thus: power lines

are much more than a conduit

for very fast electrons.

Power lines actually

'empower' people...

So that is why we need

more coal-fired power stations...

And why Adani is really

a modern day hero:

a bit of a nut job...

But an heroic nut job.

And what is wrong with coal, anyway?

Good gear, I say!

But I drift away from the subject:

power lines...

Or In my case: lines of power.

Now that is something

that I could rabbit on for...

Well.. for forever...

But with 30 seconds

remaining on the clock...

it just isn't an option
